Open Question: A question about Dreamweaver CS3 templates.?

I have been making my website with the design coming from a Dreamweaver template. I created every of my pages with the template and they were just fine. But then suddenly when I created a page from the Dreamweaver the background image didn't show up. I don't know why. I created the page the same way I made every of the other pages and it stopped working. The only thing that I had done to the template since making the last working page was that I added a spry drop-down menu. Also I noticed the code for the background on the template was the relative url, and the code for the no working page had the full-path url. It shouldn't have changed because I made it directly from the template. Any one know what the problem is? And if so what is the solution? Thanks is advance

Open Question: Where can I learn the basics of Adobe Flash CS4?

For example, I can watch a tutorial on Flash CS4 and follow it exactly and receive to the end result, but most of the time I don't really understand what I am doing or why; I am just following what they say to do. I could not take the techniques they tutor in a tutorial and apply it to something else. In photoshop, since I understand how to use it, I can watch a tutorial and apply the idea to something completely unrelated. Is there a good youtuber/website/tutorial series/etc. that will tutor you every of the basics of Flash CS4 from design to coding? Thanks ~DC Oh, and by the way - I am looking for tutorials geared more towards development than animation.

Open Question: American Greetings Magnetic notepad, where can I buy one?

My dad bought me a magnetic notepad for my birthday, a pink purse with a blossom and green background design. I had put it up thinking that no one would bother it. Sadly most of its' pages decided to detach and not want to re-attach. Seeing that they wouldn't, my brother decided it wasn't good anymore and threw it away! Then he doesn't tell me about it until I ask what happened to it. Needless to say, I was upset. Anyone know where I can receive a replacement? I tried the American Greetings website with no luck. Open Question: how to put together all the html codes of my notepad to form a website?

i dont know how to explain this but during my 1st year in college my prof taught us how to make a website using notepad. now im on my 2nd year and i cant seem to remember the steps. well, i still know how to design a web page with html codes. but my problem is how to put together every the notepads that i made? this is how it looks like. header on top, on the left side, every the navigation links, and on the right side, the body of the link. when i click on link1, the body will appear on the right portion of the page. when i click on link 2, it STILL appear on the same right portion of the page (loads. the link 1 body disappear). the left navigation area and the header area doesn't load. only the body on the right side. also the background color of each area (header, navigation, body) are different. no need to set a width or height value. it stretches automatically.

I want to receive a cherry blossom with a fallen petal on each side. I'm going to receive it on the inside arm a little bit below my wrist area. Open Question: Another stupid worry I hope?

Ok im very embarassed to be asking this, but am kinda worried. This is a serious post and isn't meant to be explicit or anything!! My pal said she had masurbated internally with hairbrushes/make up brushes. Me and my boyfriend tried this with a makeup brush inside of me a while ago, and since then ive done it quite a few times on my possess over last year. im worried that this could have hurt me. It has never caused pain, however im worried it could guide to cancer, i.e. brush was made frm plastic (coloured plastic) and a little part metal, im worried could have been toxic or at least a carcinogen!!!! should i be worried, I have done it quite a few times but this has only dawned on me recently and now I feel so stupid. I have no pain or bleeding im just worried for the future. I know I shouldnt use objects not specifically designed fro the purpose and wont in future so Ive thought of stuff like it not being clean already but dont seem t have caused an infection. Im worried as the brushes were probs quite cheap one from boots I think and maybe could have had cheap lacquer on them I dont know and maybe it could have rubbed off or something like that. Should I be worried? I also posted this topic on another website and someone said cheap dildos etc could cause cancer cos of the type of plastic, and im thinking if they can then my brush could as was probs a cheap plastic, argh! Im just scared traces may have been rubbing off inside m and I didnt know. Im sure the brushes were made in china and they dont have same safety standards with materials do they? m just so scared I could have dont something that is going to trigger cancer, I feel sick and oh so stupid!!! Sorry if this seems a crazy worry!! Hoping no one thinks serious enough worry to bother a doc with?

Hi, some pal of the family has another pal who is in need of a website for his company (not that big) and well he knows nothing about websites or computers so he asked that pal and then he told my dad and my dad told me lol...they are every lost when it comes to technology lol ...Well so since I have my possess things to do and the guy just wants to promote his ocmpany on the web (he is not going to sell anything) I suggested to receive his poge hosted by a very cheap company that offers good quality stuff (they really do) but then they asked me to design it! Ok... I'm good at design and stuff but not really into web design but since the website is simple I can do it. Since he is a pal of the family I was just going to do it but my dad told me that he was willing to give me something (I'm sooo bad at charging people) so my dad suggested maybe $100 dollars for the 5 easy pages? What do you think? I guess it's fine by me I mean the page is just an information page, however I will create the designs ... but if he wants some flash stuff hmmmm that is going to be a problem... I'm lazy as hell lol but I got people to do it for me, anyways How much do you think I should charge? Thank you guys :) I'm 23 and I'm not an expert but I have taken every kinds of design, video editing courses, arts, etc. oh and I'm a crazy perfectionist so quality won't be a problem here. Open Question: Can i make an effective band website using the Wordpress platform?

I am learning to design web sites using CSS, HTML ect. But i am not the great to be honest. My first attempt at our band website was reasonable, but i made the mistake of black background, red highlights and white writing which looks really "noobie". I have recently been impressed by the Wordpress blog platform, and i have considered making my possess custom theme for it and using that as the basis for my entire band site. It is so easy to use that any of my band members could use it effectively. every i need to do is receive a really good layout and theme and i'll be sorted. Hi guys, I am about to host a website and I need it to be designed. I found someone who will design it but I CAN'T pay online and that's every they'll take, is payment by paypal. BUT they also said "Bank" transfers. and I don't know exactly what bank transfers are. Does that mean I can take my money to the bank and transfer it to the web designer?! I am a high school graduate who works and I dont want to receive a degree because I hate core classes and I dont have the time. So anyways I am 21 and Ive taken several computer courses back in high school including computer applicaitons, desktop publishing, website design, and keyboarding. I adore computers so I definitely want a job in that field. These are the certifications that I am currently looking at: Cisco network professional certificate, Cisco Network specialist certificate, computer repair technician certificate, network administrator certificate. Maybe you can help me level them down if i describe what I am wanting. I dont want to move to a big city I live in athens, ga and would like to stay within the area or not too far away.
